- This Yarn used to be an unwanted sweater that I've taken apart and re-spun by hand. It's excited to have the chance for a second life in your next project!  

 - Working with recycled sweater yarn is exceptional because it tends to be softer and more pleasurable to work with, (and to wear!) than regular yarn due to the tenderizing it received during its previous life. It's a great option for makers of all skill levels!

What Can I Make With This Yarn?

Each skein of this Recycled Yarn is enough to make a Beret or Fingerless mitts*. Two skeins are enough for a Hat, Gloves, or Cowl*. Three or more are enough for a Shawl, Scarf, or even a Sweater*!

Because of the Wool content in this yarn, it's a great option to make Socks, Shawls, Hats, Gloves, Scarves, Sweaters, Blankets, Leg Warmers, or anything that keeps the wearer warm!

How Was This Yarn Recycled?

Each sweater I recycle is first Hand Washed and Dried before I lovingly take it apart, careful to save as much of the yarn as possible.

What sets my Recycled Yarn apart from others is the re-spinning process: I re-spin the yarn on my Louet S15 spinning wheel to refresh the twist, and make the yarn feel like new!

I then wash the yarn once more to set the twist, and to ensure a truly gratifying craft experience for you!
