What Can I Make With This Yarn?
What Can I Make With This Yarn?
Each skein of my Hand Spun Yarn is enough to make a Beret or Fingerless mitts*. Two skeins are enough for a Hat, Gloves, or Cowl*. Three or more are enough for a Shawl, Scarf, or mixed with your favorite solid color yarn, a Sweater*!
Hand Spun is great for making Shawls, Gloves, Hats, Scarves, and Socks. My Hand spun works particularly well as the yoke of a color-work sweater, or in the Nightshift Shawl Pattern.

This Merino wool is truly one of the softest wools I've encountered.
Wool is well known for its warmth and moisture wicking properties; so, it keeps you insulated yet cool at the same time.
This yarn will be a joy to work with, (and to wear!)
How Was This Yarn Made?
How Was This Yarn Made?
To create this Yarn:
- I spun up two braids of beautifully hand dyed, and super soft Merino Wool by Malabrigo.
- I spun one braid in large chunks, and one braid in small strands so when plied together, the colors mix together in new and exciting ways throughout the skein.
The finished yarn was inspired by the beautiful pastel purple and yellow colorplay of Monet's impressionist works of Venice in 1908.
