- 4 skeins available - 1 at 85 yards, 1 at 86 yards, 1 at 87 yards, and 1 at 116 yards. Choose your length at checkout.
- This is a Gradient Skein: When worked up, each skein will start with Seafoam Green, then move through Steel Blue, Grey, Lavender, Deep Violet, and then finishes with Fuchsia before moving back through the gradient and finishing the skein with Seafoam Green again. The stripes of color are long and heathered, with textural silk slub, and shiny Rose Fiber accents; which makes a delightful complexity of color and texture depth in your finished project.
What Can I Make With This Yarn?
What Can I Make With This Yarn?
Each skein of my Hand Spun Yarn is enough to make a Beret or Fingerless mitts*. Two skeins are enough for a Hat, Gloves, or Cowl*. Three or more are enough for a Shawl, Scarf, or mixed with your favorite solid color yarn, a Sweater*!
Hand Spun is great for making Shawls, Gloves, Hats, Scarves, and Socks. My Hand spun works particularly well as the yoke of a color-work sweater, or in the Nightshift Shawl Pattern.

How Was This Yarn Made?
How Was This Yarn Made?
To create this Yarn:
- I spun up a beautiful Merino/ Silk Slub blend braid Hand Dyed by Inglenook Fibers.
- I then paired it with companion Rolags I made on my Blending Board combining 6 accent colors of Merino wool with some Rose Fiber for shine.
- I spun both up and plied them together, careful to maintain the gradient.
The finished yarn was inspired by the cool sea hues, mixed with the bright pink hues of flowers near the shore in a picture I took at the Jersey shore this past summer!
